Simple Press forum, slow site

Hi everyone,

I recently installed the simple press forum and I noticed my site has gotten a lot slower (in terms of loading). I plan on adding at least on more page and in the future some type of login, which can only mean itll get slower? How do I solve this? any suggestions? Thanks!

There are a number of things that can cause a site to slow down, including image size, number of scripts and css files, etc. Each plugin used normally adds additional files to the wp_head or wp_footer that your site must load. If one particular plugin is causing your site to slow, you may want to try contacting the plugin author to see if he or she has some suggestions.

Try one of the caching plugins if you are not already using one.

A lot of articles have been written and indexed by google regarding speeding up WordPress. Also, consider getting Firebug for Firefox with YSlow - links are in my signature.

I'm sorry I can't help you more without seeing your site.
