Adding a Forum?

I'm interested in adding a forum to my Lifestyle theme. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Personally, I'm quite a fan of Simple:Press forum from http://www.stuff.yellowswordfish.com/. It is a plugin (but don't let that put you off) and integrates fully with Wordpress. Just my 2 centimes worth :).
