Mailing List Plugin Suggestions

Does anyone have suggestions for FCG-friendly mailing list registration plugins? Tribulant is not FCG-friendly.

Thanks

The free version can only send 100 emails, I believe. My mailing list is a bit larger than this.

Thanks though.

I'm using Vertical Response Widget plug-in w/ no problems.

I tried MailChimp but it threw errors that I could not fix.

i have been using mailchimp directly for about 2 years. they are a great company and provide great support. i see they have a plugin now and would think that MC would be a great choice.

however, i would like to see what other studio press theme users have had success using. if its simply just dropping in the code into a widget i guess it wouldnt matter that much...

hopefully bumping an 8 month old thread is ok.

*EDIT - wow setup was extremely easy. download and install plugin, activate, create free permanent account (that is new to me), input user/pass, drag widget to sidebar, done. 10 minutes max.

I am trying to use MailChimp in my Church theme but the Submit button does not seem to work. I am at a loss of what to do. I hate to have to go with another provider. If this has happened to others and they fixed it i sure would like to know.

I am seriously considering Intersprire but it is very expense but one time cost.

I've used MailChimp with great success. I don't know if you were trying to use a widget to put in the MailChimp signup or whether you were entering the form code yourself, but I would definitely suggest not using a plugin.

I highly suggest trying MailChimp (or another free option) to start. Many people I chat with haven't really thought through sending an email newsletter on a regular basis and not sure they want to commit to that, if they'll have enough subscribers, etc.
