Moving Theme from wordpress hosted account to self-hosted

Hi - I'm not a terribly techy person, but I'm helping a client move her Minimum themed wordpress.com blog to her newly purchased hosting plan on GoDaddy.com. I know how to export her data and upload it, but I want to move her theme since its already been purchased. Can someone help me or do I need to hire a techy to do this for me?

You cannot download theme from wordpress.com, techie or not. :)

You need to go thru the access form and request a link to be able to download the theme and install it on the self-hosted account.

Thank you!

Thanks! I was thinking the process would probably require something like that. Thanks!

You'll need to stop using the one on the wp,.com account as well. I don't mean get a refund either unless you pay for it again over here. ;D

Yea - the intention is to discontinue the wp.com one. I've sent a request via the contact us page - I hope someone will send the link. I've exported all the data from the wp.com site and I'm ready to upload on the self-hosted site now.

If I needed to ask for a refund from Wordpress for the template, is that a hard process I wonder?

No, they give a one-click button in the admin area. If you DO get a refund from wp.com, then you must RE-purchase on this end.

I see your request in the contact form. ;) At least I think it's you..
