I believe I got it. First, in the screen options section, enable the discussion panel (which is not enabled by default.) Then uncheck Allow Comments. Seems to have done the trick.

Is there a tutorial or post on this already? If not, how do I disable commenting on a page by page basis. For example, I don't want comments on my Contact page (unnecessary) but I do want comments on...

Contact Form 7 compatibility issues

I'm using contact form 7 and can't get the Captcha image or input area to show up. I'm wondering if there are compatibility issues with Genesis.

Integration with Buddy Press

I've yet to try to integrate my Genesis site with BuddyPress but I will be doing so soon.
