Home Page Featured Section - Add a New Section

How can I add multiple featured home page sections to the news theme? Right now there is only three, and I would like to add more, however not sure how to work that with the SP dashboard.

Centering Image in Sidebar

I am having major issues with centering an image in the sidebar ( I haven't tried in a post yet) any ideas on what the problem could be?

Are you referring to Wordpress? I only use Wordpress. Some basic things I typically do is use the custom permalinks where it shows the post name. I also add keywords to the category descriptions. ...

I was upgrading via FTP. Unfortunately I cannot even log into the admin page nor get the index page to load to even try and use the WP automatic upgrade plugin. :(
