I have renamed the Plugins folder to plugins-disabled and uploaded a brand new one from a fresh wordpress download and that seems to have worked, now I get to install each plugin again 1 by 1 and see...

Ok, I followed all the steps to do the manual upgrade and it went without a hitch... but I still have the error. Weird thing was though I also never got the message to upgrade/update the database.

Thanks, I forgot to mention I can get to it by going to "wp-admin/plugins.php" directly without any problems. So I will go ahead and disable everything and see if it is still affected.

I'm not sure if this is possible with wordpress but I know it is with PHP.

I want to know if there is a way to make it so my site has a custom welcome message.
