Whether it can be classified as a mistake or not, a good suggestion might be a check for proper permissions to write to the folder. This would alert the person using the theme that there was an issue...

The combination of changing permissions on the tools/cache folder and removing the blog url from the path to the image did the trick.

Yes, I had added the custom field 'thumb'. Since the site is active, and instead of leaving a 'missing pic' on the post, I temporarily removed it. If the permissions on the tools/cache folder fix...

I'm having a similar issue with thumbnails on the home page.

I've tried all the suggestions but one, resetting the permissions on the tools/cache directory. I don't have a tools/cache directory,...

Ok...at least the ads are displayed correctly now. Still a weird issue with the styles not showing correctly on this one page. Mostly noticeable in Firefox. Odd as the sidebar styles show correctly...

The ad I added is in a coded division and is styled. I can add text, but the ad won't display properly.

As for the sidebar, it is coming from the Theme Option page. ADSENSE300.
