Can you change the color of individual words in title?

If there are several words in the title of your page, and you're not using an image logo but rather the plain text...is it possible to change the color of EACH word in the title with CSS?

That particular one was added via the "header"...

That particular one was added via the "header" area under appearances. I tried to put the image url in the #header area, but it doesn't link either?

I need to link the header back to the "home" page. I've tried simply putting the header image in the CSS, and also uploading it via the "Header" link under "Appearance." But still it's not...
