Definitely strange but maybe it's due to having paging plugins a few month ago that i had since deleted. Either way thank you so much for your assistance..i would have quit w/out your help.

Tried it Adew and it doesn't work with custom Permalinks.

Basically with custom (/%category%/%postname%/) for page 2 the URL is: http://thegreatmonkey.com/page/2/

And for default when it works...

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but after adding the replacement code and tweaking it, "Next Page" shows correctly but clicking it leads to a Not Found, Error 404 The page you are looking for...
