I think more people would benefit if the reply was made here... since the plugin is also used in some "standard" Studiopress templates. Sooner or later some else is going to have the same issue......

I tested by saving the file as jpg (quality 60) and then it's just 46kb instead of 598kb. You could probaly reduce it even further without anyone...

If you use Word 2007 you can publish to WordPress directly. Instead of going the pdf route. I've played with it sometime ago and it seemed to work very easy. Don't know about more advanced image...

I solved the matter by using the php code widget and using for example:

How to exclude 1 page from search?

Is there a way to exclude single pages from showing up in the search results?
Maybe something to add to search.php. I already tried with Advanced Category Excluder but did not get the result I want....
