Align a text widget to the footer

Hi there, I'm using this code

#text-3 {
position: absolute;
top: 100%;
border: none ;
}

to align my text widget with the footer, only trouble is this pushes it outside the site...

I've just used Next Gen on the thickbox setting...

Has anyone build a directory site on Studio Press and have any advice about which theme works well and which plugins are good. I've looked at Business Directory but I've never used it..
