I will be building a travel site for a city that will include hotels, attractions, events, restaurants, articles, etc. I am having a hard time deciding which direction to go: 'posts and categories' or 'custom post types'. If I didn't know otherwise, I would immediately assume to go the direction of custom post types but after reading
this post by Otto I feel it would be better to use posts with categories. Plus I am more comfortable with the latter.
I can't help but think of the way AgentPress is currently structured but I thought I read how they are switching listings over to custom post types (please correct me if this is wrong).
Right now I lean toward using posts and categories but would like some input from others.
