GOAL: be able to set aside a portion of a side (say: domainname.com/membersonly/) that does not require a separate wordpress install.
Off and on for a while I have been looking for members / restricted plugins in the wordpress directory and am now just looking for feedback and advice. For my personal site, there are simply posts I don't want to show up in the public ... with some ventures, I know there are elements that this could be helpful with (like clubs for bands, or people selling content). Any suggestions? Here is a quick list of some of the plugins I have looked at, but not settled on: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/members-only/ http://www.newmedias.co.uk/wordpress-membership/ http://butlerblog.com/wp-members/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/member-access/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/use ... s-manager/ I would really like to avoid having a seperate db, install, manager to deal with ... thanks
