Default PSD files for themes

Hi! I've been looking for a solid framework to build my sites on and after doing much research, I just purchased the Pro Plus All Access Package! Quite excited about that. During the research (on StudioPress and other 3rd party reviews) I got the distinct impression that this package was very developer friendly and made it easy for customization.

As I was looking through the theme files, I noticed there are no psd files. Am I missing something? Is there a link on this forum or elsewhere for psd files?

All of the premium themes I have purchased over the years come with the native psd files...I assumed this was industry standard when you pay for premium themes.

Clearly, they are intentionally left out of the theme folders. Just curious why this is...and if they are available upon request.
Thanks!

Not necessarily. Some of our themes have PSD files, some do not.

Other companies try and use it as a perk. We don't.

Oh, I guess I only looked in about 5 or 6 folders. Either I happened to choose the ones that didn't, or the percentage of ones that do is low.

To many developers and web designers, it IS a perk.

This conversation doesn't mean I don't like genesis. I'm still looking forward to using it as my go-to framework. It also doesn't mean that I even need the psd files for every theme. Often, I customize using css and code only, or build my own child theme. But occasionally, when using a purchased theme, the native files come in very handy.

Are specific psd files available upon request?
Thanks

Not always. :) Mostly because for some theme we just did not start with a PSD, if you can believe it. ;)
