I'm creating alternate home page and interior page layout. Using home.php for the front page I've widgetized the header area and changed the size. I'd like to use the Genesis random header in the admin panel for the other, inside pages. For some reason when I add an image in the back end, the header does not show up on the inside pages. :| Is this possible? If so, what am I missing here?

Looks like your header is showing up on inside pages to me. The slider is covering the header in the front page.

Well I kind of got it working yesterday afternoon. I added a height to #header which made the image on the interior pages show.
andrea_r - Please see attached of the random header image I was reffering to. Maybe it's just a WP thing, but regardless that part seems to be working now. Untitled2.jpg The slider images on the home page is still not displaying in the right place, but I think that's an issue I need to iron out within the plug-in CSS. I also need to work on the navigation placement so it falls in the right place under the slideshow on home page. Currently it works on the interior pages, but home is not placed right. Feel free to close this if needed as I think I resolved this issue. I may or may not post about the above. We'll see. |
