Default Simple Hooks for ad code smart tag?

I'm trying to work with an ad network that wants me to put a smart tag "after the body tag" for every page. Then I would put a place holder code in the sidebar where ads would show.

Question: Can I use simple hooks to place this smart tag? If so, where, and do I check one of the boxes? (Or is there a place to put this on the stylesheet?)

I am not a programer (sorry!) but their programmer is not familiar with child themes, so I'd rather not give them the keys to my Genesis files.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Did you try adding it to the footer script field in the Genesis settings panel?
