General WP question: changing page name creates permalinks -2?

Default General WP question: changing page name creates permalinks -2?
I changed the page name of a published page. WordPress SEO is adding "-2"

I have the settings for not indexable by search engines until I am done with the site. So, there is nothing linking to this page.

How do I change the permalink back to the page name only and lose the -2?

You can edit the permalink from within the page editor. Was there already a page with that name in the database? Male sure that that page is emptied from the trash if so.
