Default My wordpress site is very slow

My wordpress site (http://dailomo.com) which is running by Studio press Church Child theme - is very slow... Since it is very slow..My Alexa ranking too falls from 1,30,000 to 1,70,000.

I used wp-super cache, widget cache plugins...but still it is too slow.. Any suggestions how to improve the speed... I have seen other sites which run by studio press is fast loading than my site..

First, make sure you don't have any images that don't exist. sidebar-top.png and footer-topp.png are returning 404 errors. This can significantly affect site load time.

Second, do a plugin audit. Disable any plugins you don't absolutely need.

Third, consider using w3 total cache for minification and built in CDN support. Also setup a CDN with it.

Finally, slow hosting = slow site. If you are on a shared host or a small VPS then you may need to upgrade your hosting.

Geek,

Thanks for your quick response.

1. How I can find out the broken Images, Links etc?.

2. For configuring W3 total cache plugin, My host need to be equip with PHP accelerators.
Which Accelerators gives best results?

eAccelerator: Free^
Memcached: $25
XCache : $35*^
APC: $35*^

^ Requires PHP recompile
** Not compatible with your IonCube PHP Loader or Zend Optimizer
extensions. Also, permissions will need to be changed accordingly for write
permissions of scripts. Folders will require 777 and files 666 using
ownership of nobody or user. This will possibly cause mail delivery issues,
as well as definite file security issues,

2. Please suggest which CDN service is the best?

Thanks,
Gunny007

For the images, I used Google Chrome to identify the two I posted.

I can't give specific advice to these questions but I'll tell you what I've used. I've used APC and XCache, think I'm on APC right now because it is built into my host. I've been using Amazon S3 for a CDN.

Has your database been optimized? I use WP-Optimize to optimize the database and it speeds things up. You can download it here - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-optimize/

Nick, how do you use Amazon S3 as a CDN? How do you keep images/files in sync? How do you tell WP which links to use?

Thanks.
