I have a message that has just popped up in my dashboard and want to know what it is and how to rid of it. My site is fine (which the public sees)...I think.
www.superstarprofessor.com 502 Bad Gateway, nginx/ 1.0.6 Anyone know? Looking at the recent previous activity, I put a QR code on my post/site (that lead to my url) and held my iPad to my screen showing my blog and scanned it with my iPad? I also registered for a toolbar - Wibiya.com (but did not install yet), but I had to enter my url in the registration process to create a toolbar. I don't know what causes this message, grasping? *I thought I posted a message about this already but didn't see it? |

You'll need to talk to your host - that;s a server side error.

Yes, it was a plug-in issue. I talked to the server 'people' (Bluehost, who by the way are excellent!), and he checked it out. He did 'something' on his end to check and then I was told to go to each plugin I had, deactivate, and see which one, once deactivated, made the message disappear. I did, and lucky for me, it was the second one I tried and it disappeared. It was an Amazon plug-in that I had on my site, yet wasn't using...whatever.

Great since the issue is resolved, I'll close the thread. If you have more questions, please open a new thread.
