To find a widget search the WordPress Plugins page. You can install a plugin by clicking the Install link and following the instructions given by the plugin author. You can also search the internet for reviews of photo gallery plugins. The StudioPress Resources forum also has a few threads on recommended plugins.

For programs, installation instructions are usually included in a separate file or in the comments of one file. Some programs may require installation by the programmer.
