Default Creating a Static Home Page
I want to create a static homepage in the Studiopress Education theme. I would like to keep the sidebars and have Featured Content. However I don't want blogs displayed on the home page.

Instead I want to display fixed content under the photo gallery in what is now displaying blog posts.

Open home.php and replace everything in the .homepagenews div with your content.
