Fail FTP Upload of Genesis Theme

It's been a year or so since I've done anything with my site at http://www.tgif247.com

I have bought another domain, http://www.newcovenantx.com

I am trying to upload the genesis theme but failed.

I'm using GoDaddy. I have my main account with them and have a subdirectory entitled "newcovenantx" there. I FTP'd into my account and uploaded the content (two folders, images and lib and all the php files and the style.css.

I have a link at http://www.newcovenantx.com that says Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/content/s/h/e/sheepdogmark/html/newcovenantx/index.php on line 1

I've done searches but can't seem to find the help on what to do. I'ts been a year or two since initially working with wordpress and I just purchased all the themes today to try to do this on my own.

Any links or FYI's folks can point me to?

That advice worked for uploading Genesis to my tgif247.com old site.

However, I'm wanting to upload this theme to my newcovenantx.com site.

According to godaddy and my ftp ... my account can host multiple domains, so my main site that is under is tgif247.com. Under that I have a domain name sheepdogmark.com and newcovenantx.com.

So, when I try to FTP genesis, do I need to set up a whole new wordpress for the newcovenantx.com? I would assume so. I have that from wordpress now ... but it appears that I might need to do something with a second database? Any help on that one. I was hoping to copy everything over after this install.

Any thoughts or suggestions on steps and the process I should follow?

you will need to do a new WP install, yes. I'm not sure how GoDaddy goes about doing it - I usually use HostGator and I can set up as many new databases as I need to.
You may want to just call GoDaddy tech support and have them put up the new install for you...
