Question General consensus on Dynamic Content Gallery over the old Featured Content Gallery?

I am just curious, as a user of many of the older StudioPress templates, are many of you swapping out the old Featured Content Gallery that was the norm for a while in favor of the newer Dynamic Content Gallery plug-in?

I am just wondering if I should be going back to my older sites and switching to the newer more dynamic system Brian is now using in the Genesis themes?

If they are working, why bother.

IMHO, DCG is a better plugin, plus Ade, who is a Sr. Mod here on StudioPress is the developer.

If FCG is working on the sites I've done, then I'm not messing with it. If it ain't broke, don't fix it ;)

But I've had several people contact me about FCG not working, weird problems and I've just gone ahead and switched them to the DCG plugin. Problem solved.

DCG is great. Easy to use, no weird conflicts and of course, it's by our own wonderful stupendous Ade. :) It also has some features that FCG doesn't.

Yeah, I really like the DCG, mainly because of the features and ease of use. I only have about 5-6 sites using FCG, and thus far have not had a problem. I think from here forward though, any StudioPress or similar template we use, we'll be using DCG, just makes sense to get "in with the new."

Thanks everyone :-)

Default So the DCG does not have conflicts with jquery galleries?

I have noticed that FCG does not like and conflicts with jquery galleries and other plugins that are jquery based.
If I switch to the DCG, will these issues go away?
Thanks!

Rick,
DCG allows you to specify Moo tools or jQuery as the framework so if there are conflicts with other plugins, you can switch frameworks to hopefully elimanate problems.
