I have the same problem

I would also like to know the solution for this.
I have deleted the old post_template .php file and installed the latest version 2.3 by Nathan Rice. In the single post template dropdown I get two options: 'default' and 'photo'. However when I choose 'default' the post shows up as a photo-post formatted post on the frontpage.
