I know exactly how Sanaa feels. Reading her frustrations and then the responses she gets....talk about condescending remarks. (not just for her, but peppered throughout your support forum. Its hard to tell tone in text, but some seem a bit unwilling to divulge the deep secrets of customization..... instead trying to sell the design services to those that want to make the changes themselves, I was convinced to go with Studiopress for the Support forum that was advertised. However most of my questions have been answered with Google or from reading the forums and seeing other people answer questions that an Admin seemed to have shrugged off right off the bat.
Buyers remorse, Me too. I thought Studiopress would be an upgrade to the free themes I was playing with before. Wrong I was. If anything there are more steps to make things look they way I want. I also agree with Sanaa that the Showcase websites should have a disclaimer attached to them if they were indeed designed by one of your approved designers. I know many of us can spot a fully customized website...but many of us can't, really.
Now I feel I paid for the theme I need to get my money's worth, that will only show by the amount of support that is offered. Or the lack of attention I see others or myself receiving. So time will tell.
Thanks Sanaa, you made me laugh.
