If you were going to create the thumbnails yourself then getting the format right for the archive pages wouldn't be difficult. Jason and John have done similar things with some of the new themes.

If no-one else comes up with anything for you I think one of the guys in the designers section could probably knock up what you want in an hour or two.

it'd be very useful to have my videos show up on the homepage in the original featured photo section. it'd take me a lifetime to figure out how to have the videos line up with thumbnails like a gallery..

If any of the designers can help with this, i sincerely appreciate it.
