Can't get homepage to show.

Hello there,

I can't get the 'home' page to show. all that appears when I click on 'Home' in the menubar , is the 'about' page (and the url, if I type in just the basic url of the site, it redirects itself to :

http://www.handbag-hook.co.uk/about/

I had done a little bit of 'playing around' when I was last working on it, trying out a shopping cart plugin, and wonder if I mucked it up like that??

Try deactivating your plugins and see if it still happens.

Go under Settings > Reading and make sure Front page displays is set to recent posts

Jon, thank you but I took the easy/quicker way out and deleted everything and started again.
