ok, then you need to make the custom category-xx.php file like I said before. Copy the existing category.php or archive.php file into that. You will need to edit the loop. Basically you need to copy it for each child category and put in a custom loop for the child category. Before the loop you need to put in your header, then in the query you need to add the correct category.
