Yeah wp125 didnt quite work for me.

I actually just used a text widget, cleated a div class for the ads (floated left) and then used the google ad server to serve the ads (https://www.google.com/dfp)

The google ad server has its nuances (changes not showing up for 20-30 minutes) but it has worked ok.
