That's okay. I found the answer in a post by Brian from Revolution 1. It says how the code works for displaying category versus a single page. I also used the Page ID # to exclude the pages I didn't want showing on the navbar. Wordpress also has a built in hack for reordering them. So I think I found all the information now.
