Default How To Add Text

I can see the Title of my feature and the image great. However how do I allow for a description ? I was under the assumption it read the first few lines of the post or got the text from the excerpt section. I cannot get it to pick up the description text from the first few lines or from my excerpt. Are there some custom field i need to add or what ?

Try this:

- Settings >> Featured Content Gallery >>

- You will see this field Text Overlay Height in Pixels:

- Set that field to 40px. You should see text. If you want more text to show in the gallery increase the number to 80px for example.

- Your right, it gets the info from your post, but the above mentioned field controls how much text is shown in the gallery.

- Let me know if this works.

Obviously I had that part figured out. I can see the Title - my question is how to i get it to show the the first few lines of the post associated. Example would be XXXTITLEXXX
this is the first few lines of the post.

Like i said i see the title of my post, but it doesn't read the beginings of the post. It's just blank. It also doesn't get the information from my excerpt.

I am also having a similar problem. I have tried adjusting the text overlay and have looked in a css highlighter that shows all the div's etc. The p element for the overlay is there but it doesn't seem to be pulling in any of the text.

Thanks

Daniel
