I just noticed the new Hello Bar feature at the top of the page here at StudioPress. I checked out their website, but you need an beta invitation to try it out.

Anyone have a Hello Bar invitation to share?

Are there quick and easy alternatives out there?

The concept is interesting, though obviously they are still working out the kinks. I was able to sign up last night, then got a message that I needed a beta invite to go further.

Okay, that's fine.

Now I've got the beta invite code, but I can't sign in to enter it! It says: "account has not been activated yet." And if I try to register again it says that my email has already been registered.

Grrrr.

But the screenshots they show glimpses of on their the Hello Bar site look promising. I'm waiting to hear from them on how to get in.
