I have tried the plugin that Debra listed, but after trying to get it to work and several conversations with the developer, gave up.

As client wanted to limit amount of real-estate used by the widgets, I finally found this one: Tabbed Widgets

It took a bit of styling to make it look like the theme I created for the client, but it works well.
