the margin for the top should have been 10px not I need new keyboard an to paymore attention.

looks like you have it mostly figured out now. So just change this

.hpfeatured {
background: #FFFFFF url(images/featuredtop.gif) top no-repeat;
float: left;
width: 280px;
margin-top: 10px;

to this

.hpfeatured {
background: #FFFFFF url(images/featuredtop.gif) top no-repeat;
float: left;
width: 280px;
margin-bottom: 10px;<--change to this

and everything should line up
