Thanks Debra. I didn't see an nextgen markup in the mashable slideshow when i was inspecting it via firebug the other day. Where did you see it?

I will still contact the plugin dev for ideas though.

On another note, i've been messing around with Slide Deck this afternoon and it looks like it has some potential but is WAAAAY to bloated than it needs to be.
