Default Browser Fonts

As stated before you are simply trying to fit too much in to one line at that font size.
Browsers have always rendered fonts slightly differently from each other.
To make it fit on one line you can

reduce the number of navigation items
or
reduce the navigation font size
or
reduce the padding on each navigation element

Welcome to the world of browser differences :)
