Yes, anytime you switch themes any customizations you have made will need to be redone.

I don't have a copy of Corporate 1.0 so haven't tested it in WP 3.2.1 but I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work.

And WordPress has it's own jobs board where you can find developers.
