activated both Benesis and child theme.

Hi. My forum name is mednav. I am new to StudioPress. I recently purchased the Freestyle theme. Loaded and activated both Genesis and Freestyle themes. All I have to work with to format is Genesis. Under Appearance/Themes I do not get the Add New option. How do I fix this so that I can work with the Freestyle child theme settings?

Thanks much for guidance. I have spent many hours spinning my wheels.

All settings are set under Genesis=>Theme Settings. Freestyle doesn't have a separate settings panel.
