Hi Sozo - thanks for the quick reply. I have no journalism training, and I am not familiar with the terms in your reoply..."text editor"..."converrt to plain text." Here is what I am doing. I hand type an original article in a newletter by someone else who has given my organiation the permission to use it. Our leaders then make copies to use in their devotional meetings across the city. I find punctuation errors in the articles all the time. Sometimes the writer quotes others and some of these quotes also have wrong punctuation. What is the guideline when using someone else's writing? Do I correct the wrong punctuation in the article and in the quotes or leave them as is?
