Glad you got it working.

The folder permissions could have been a problem. 755 should be fine for the spritegen and spritegen_default folders. You're slightly safer scaling those back from your current settings.

Btw, as much as I like Genesis and the "G" logo, I'd replace the standard favicon.ico. It would be a finishing touch to what is overall a nice site.
