A short note of feedback:

Given the fact that I use the note above and pull the latest 10 posts (from all the different categories) to show on the frontpage.

A same kind of functionality should be possible to go to the "next page with older posts again from all the categories" using the "Read More Posts From This Category » " bookmark on the bottom of the frontpage. This means if you don't want to direct that bookmark to a single category.
