Possible problem with temporary URL when transferring DNS

Presumably your temporary URL http://216.172.184.181/~btickler/
will be replaced by your old URL www.dlantern.com when you transfer the DNS.

I'm doing exactly what you're doing i.e. setting up a site using a temporary URL before I point the DNS to the new site.

I would be interested to know how you manage the changeover i.e. presumably image paths etc are in the database with the temporary URL as the path.

Back to your question - Yes I did notice the menu fonts load and then change in the new site but not in the old one!
