I am using the metric theme and a few plug ins on www.souhantq.com it takes 7 seconds to load the site. We have installed quick cache but it doesnt seem to have speeded things up at all. Any advise to speed this site up would be great!

I think your images are an issue - you have 300K bg image and another 250k bg image - these might be better as jpgs instead of png files.

unhook your bg images and see how it reacts.
