Default Where to put analytics code

I have Crazyegg and was wondering where I should put the analytics code?

Its supposed to go right before the </body> but I dont see this in the index.php or home.php files. Where should it go and in which file? I'd like to put it on the home page.

Thanks!

This was very helpful to me, a novice at this stuff. But I am wondering - does pasting the analytics code just once in the footer php just before the body tag cover me for all of my pages, or will that only track the home page? Seems like it would track each page, but I need to be sure - I have some 50 pages on my site, and I would want each tracked separately. Please advise, anybody. Many thanks.

Yes. The </body> has to be on every page and it is only located in the footer.php file.
