Solved it!
It had something to do with the featured video. Somehow the Vimeo code i put inthere messed up the Featured Content Gallery. For those of you struggling with the same problem. Here's a link to a perhaps useful thread with other suggestions you could try for instance: try what deactivating each of your plugins does to the FTG: http://www.revolutiontheme.com/support/ ... a&start=15
