Using remove_action in genesis child theme

Hi,

The child theme's functions.php loads the Genesis init.php which loads all Genesis functions and actions. Hence, remove_action calls can be used in functions.php.

However, if you need to remove actions based on conditional tags, for example, you have to do this within a function, similar to the example you posted.
