Does copying one of your own posts affect SEO?

Thanks Nick,

I have now made a link called blog to one of the 3 websites I have. The link marked 'blog' links through to the one main websites page with all of my blog posts on it, so hopefully that is being fair and reasonable to Google and the others, rather than trying to get away with it by posting the same blog post on all 3 sites albeit with a couple of paragraphs changed etc.

I hope that is the right thing to do, now I can concentrate on one site and get that ranking well and not have any concerns about any of them being penalised for having the same or similar text.
