Technically speaking, no. But if a lot of your SEO options are locked into the AIO plugin, you need the exporter plugin to move them into Genesis as Michael explained.

I assume you would use the transporter plugin after installing Genesis (and child theme), otherwise there's nowhere to transport the data to.
