Cool, thanks! I figured it out. It's working how I wanted it now after some editing.

I noticed that the custom field name being told to add is "thumbnail" but this doesn't work with the timthumb. The timthumb is programmed to call "thumb". When I changed my custom field to "thumb" things started working.
